Three vintage mason jars for two bucks a piece. |
You can see I couldn't wait to hang them before I tried out the candles! |
I used some grapevine wire and sisal twine as well as some cute ric-rac to dress up the jar. |
The lantern can be hung from the wire hanger. There is plenty of room to allow for the heat of the candle to escape. |
The candle nestles into the sand in the bottom. |

Hi Heather - You are so cute leaving me such a fun comment - thanks xo
ReplyDeleteI would love to come upon great looking canning jars like the ones you found. They look so nice all grouped together as candle lanterns. Until I stumble upon a few of my own, for now I am using pickle jars as candle holders on one of my outside tables - they work, but don't have the same character as the canning jars that you found.
My best- Diane
Thanks so much for linking up! These are so adorable and I plan on using hanging mason jars with candles in the trees around our summer cap for our vow renewal! :) So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHope to see you link up again next week!
